1. Overview

We stand behind our work. This policy outlines how returns, refunds, and warranty claims work for our custom builds, DIY kits, and Tone Tutoring services. We serve customers in the United States and Canada.

2. Custom Pedalboard Builds

2.1 Deposits Are Non-Refundable

All custom builds require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your build slot and begin component sourcing. This deposit covers our time in design consultation, component ordering, and project management. Once your build is underway, the deposit is not refundable.

2.2 Workmanship Warranty

Your custom pedalboard includes a 90-day workmanship warranty from the date of delivery. If you discover a defect in our assembly, soldering, or wiring within 90 days, we'll repair or rebuild the affected section free of charge.

2.3 What the Warranty Covers

  • Cold solder joints or bad connections
  • Faulty assembly or component mounting
  • Broken switches, jacks, or connectors due to manufacturing defect
  • Wiring damage caused during assembly (not by you)
  • Incorrect routing or miswiring per the approved design

2.4 What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

  • Damage from accidents, drops, or physical abuse
  • Liquid damage or exposure to moisture
  • Modifications or alterations you make after delivery
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Third-party component defects
  • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect function
  • Use beyond intended design

2.5 Initiating a Warranty Claim

Contact us at info@therigdr.com with photos/video of the issue, description of the problem, and your order number. We'll troubleshoot first. If it's a covered defect, shipping both ways is on us.

2.6 Timeline for Repairs

Warranty repairs typically take 5-10 business days once we receive your pedalboard.

3. DIY Kits & Accessories

3.1 Return Window

All DIY kits and accessories have a 30-day return window from delivery. Items must be unused and unopened for a full refund.

3.2 How to Return

Email info@therigdr.com with your order number. We provide a return label for US orders. Refunds issued within 5 business days of receiving the item to your original payment method.

3.3 Shipping Costs

Original shipping is non-refundable. US return shipping covered by us. Canadian/international return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

3.4 Defective Products

Defective items replaced or refunded at no cost regardless of location. Contact info@therigdr.com with photos.

4. Tone Tutoring Sessions

4.1 Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ hours in advance: Full refund or credit
  • Less than 24 hours: Session fee forfeited
  • No-ed

4.2 Technical Issues

Our fault = free reschedule. Your fault = 50% credit toward reschedule.

5. Shipping Damage

Report damage within 2 business days at info@therigdr.com with photos. All custom builds are fully insured. We'll replace, refund, or arrange return within 7-10 business days.

6. Clearance & Final Sale

Items marked "clearance" or "final sale" are not eligible for return or refund. Custom builds are non-refundable once work begins.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us at info@therigdr.com before disputing with your bank. We resolve most issues quickly and directly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted. Your rights under orders placed before a change are governed by the policy in effect at the time o purchase.
