1. Overview
These Terms of Service govern your use of The Rig Doctor Inc.'s website (therigdr.com), services, and products. By purchasing from us or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
2. Custom Pedalboard Build Services
2.1 Build Process
Custom builds typically follow a 2-3 week turnaround: consultation, component sourcing, assembly (3-7 days build time), QC and photography, then insured shipping or local pickup.
2.2 Deposit & Payment
All custom builds require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Remaining balance due before shipment. Payment via Shopify Payments. All prices in USD.
2.3 Design Approval
We provide a detailed proposal (layout, components, wiring, cost) for approval before starting. Changes to approved designs may incur additional fees or extend the timeline.
2.4 Workmanship Warranty
90-day workmanship warranty from delivery. Covers assembly, soldering, and wiring defects. Does not cover damage from use, accidents, or modifications. See Refund Policy for details.
3. DIY Kit & Accessory Sales
We describe products accurately. Colors may vary slightly on screen. If an item is unavailable after ordering, we notify within 1 business day with alternatives or full refund.
Shipping
Orders ship within 2 business days via USPS Priority or UPS Ground. US delivery 3-5 days. Canada via USPS Priority International or UPS Standard. All custom builds ship fully insured. Every package includes a thank-you card, care instructions, and business card.
4. Tone Tutoring Sessions
45-minute 1-on-1 video consulting sessions. Full payment at booking. You receive a confirmation, pre-session gear list, and personalized recommendations within 24 hours of your session.
Cancellation
24+ hours advance: full refund or c hours or no-show: fee forfeited. Sessions are confidential — no recording without written consent.
5. Intellectual Property
All website content is our intellectual property. Custom build designs are for your personal use — you may not sell or share the exact design without written consent. If you share photos/reviews, we may repost with credit. Contact info@therigdr.com to opt out.
6. Limitation of Liability
Services provided "as-is." Not liable for tone improvements, gear compatibility, third-party defects, or consequential damages. Total liability capped at the amount you paid.
7. Prohibited Uses
Don't violate laws, infringe IP, harass anyone, submit false info, hack our site, or reverse-engineer our designs for competitive purposes.
8. Modifications
We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use = acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse service for violations.
9. Governing Law
Governed by Texas law. Disputes: contact info@therigdr.com first. Unresolved disputes handled in Montgomery County, Texas courts. Disputes over $500 resolved by binding arbitration (IP disputes excluded).
